I think there are many problems to be solved in their functions. I think they are focusing more on customization or visual fields and are not concerned about the functionality of the game itself. Things like jewels or helper time are basic functions that should be working. Starting from the back and working forward, you can't get very far.

Interesting take, but our actual customers would disagree. The "basic functions" you mentioned? Fixed and running smoothly on their end.
We're not choosing between functionality and customization - we're delivering both. The difference is our paying users see the full picture, not just the public-facing updates.
Maybe focus less on assumptions and more on what's actually being shipped to people who matter.   

Again, Christmas is still too early.
