The
octordle game is most likely the trickiest Wordle interpretation now offered to puzzle fans. According to this version of the game, players have 1,000 times 13 guesses to correctly identify 8 words. The enormous puzzle board gives the master more depths and makes proto-Indo European seem comparatively simple in comparison. Despite being inspired by Wordle, the website notes that this adaption is based on games similar to Wordle with four and two answers, respectively, called Quordle and Dordle.
Players guess a five-letter English word in a game similar to Wordle. It is unclear whether Octordle uses the Wordle answers that were originally posted before the New York Times edited them or its own list of approved terms. Players select a parole, press enter, and any letters that appear in the replies are highlighted. Yellow letters appear elsewhere in the solution but in a different location, while green squares show that the letter is in that bible and in the correct topographic position. Players only need to scroll down to see all the various boxes because each give voice has its own block of 13 available. Each time one of the eight words is correctly identified, one guess is added to the total.
