This is the most common type of HGV vehicle.  Drivers of this category of vehicles tend to do more local deliveries than large vehicles.  A category C license allows drivers to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, but must not exceed 32 tonnes. Category C (or Class 2 as they are otherwise known) licences typically cover a vehicle with a cab and trailer fixed permanently together. In other words, what we would consider a ‘standard lorry’ or a rigid vehicle.

What is a Category C+E vehicle?
A category C + E license is the most comprehensive HGV licence you can hold. With this licence, drivers can drive and handle a drawbar or articulated vehicle (artic). The E part of the category C and E licence stands for entitlement and means that the bearer can go up to or over 750kg in weight. This license is also known as Class 1, allowing the driver to drive any large goods style vehicle needed, including a double trailer.

A Category C+E license enables drivers to operate articulated vehicles, commonly known as "artics" or tractor-trailer combinations. The license holder is allowed to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, similar to a Category C license. However, the crucial distinction is that the Category C+E license allows the driver to exceed the 32-tonne limit imposed on Category C vehicles. This license covers both drawbar (where the trailer is not permanently attached) and articulated vehicles (where the trailer is permanently attached). As for driver's licenses, now fake id can all be done online, though there is some risk involved. This includes the ability to drive a vehicle with a double trailer, also known as a "road train" or "long combination vehicle." The "E" in Category C+E stands for entitlement, signifying the driver's entitlement to operate vehicles exceeding 750kg in weight, giving them the flexibility to handle a wide range of heavy goods vehicles. Drivers with a Category C+E license have the flexibility to handle a variety of large goods vehicles, making them suitable for long-distance haulage and transportation of heavier loads.
